AXLE SURGEONS SPINDLE REPLACEMENT SPECIALIST
Trailer Axle Spindles
by Axle Surgeons in Seattle/Tacoma
A bad spindle or spider plate can keep your trailer down for days. We replace damaged trailer and drive spindles on vehicles 3/4 ton and up and replace spider plates on heavy-duty trailers.

When you call for a spindle replacement, our service experts conduct a free inspection of the spider plate, then replace only the parts you need. If you need both a trailer spindle and spider plate, you pay a reduced combination repair rate. We also custom-fit spider plates for most makes and models, even obsoletes.
Axle Surgeons replacement techniques are safer, more durable, than old-fashioned pateches or repairs. Only official Axle Surgeons have the machines and parts necessary to apply the patented processes developed by the company and are licensed to display the Axle Surgeons brand name.

Drive Axle Spindles
Axle Surgeons use proprietary, patented tools, techniques and technology developed through more than 37 years of experience. Drive and trailer axle spindle replacement is fast and cost-effective when you call an Axle Surgeon.
The days when you had to settle for an unsafe, roadside quick-fix butt weld or patch job are gone.
These traditional welding techniques can actually decrease the load-bearing strength of axle housings. Trained, authorized Axle Surgeon mobile specialists replace the entire spindle, Inserting it five inches, to retail full axle strength and get you back on the road quickly and safely.
King Pin Sleeving
Routine wear of the steering axle eye can cause loose kingpins. Ordering a new axle can cost hundreds of dollars and weeks of downtime.
Now you can save time and money with Axle Doctors steering axle sleeving system.

Equipment Line Bore and Bore Welding
Line boring is used to restore worn-out or damaged pin holes on heavy equipment (backhoes, dozers, excavators, etc...) with maximum accuracy. This creates clean and accurate holes that have been already cast or drilled.
Our line boring machine supports boring diameters from 2.5 to 12 inches, with precision and speed. Our certified welders can perform jobs directly on site to save time and costs for our customers.

Fast
We bore and sleeve the steering axle on the truck within hours.

Safe
Our sleeves are precision-machined from seamless aircraft steel tubing for strength. Thinner than typical machine shop sleeves. Axle Doctors sleeves require less coring of the axle eye, keeping more of the original axle intact.

Accurate
The patented Axle Doctors sleeving system is designed for accuracy of boring angle, centering and size. The process restores your original inclination angle, a factor in reducing tire wear. Remachining the worn thrust bearing surface restores the original spec. An improperly bored axle will increase your alignment costs.
